You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while, “He who is coming will come and will not delay.” Hebrews 10:36-37 (NIV)

| As a member of Quiet Hits Traffic Surf Exchange they often have
contests. Normally, I don't compete, but this time, I think I have
enough friends to win it. The person with the most referrals wins $250. I want to win it and put the money towards my sons' headstone. My son has been dead for almost 3 years, and the headstone costs a little over $1000. His funeral really set me back because I paid for it with donations from friends and family. You see, the insurance companies won't issue life insurance policies to chronically ill persons, so I spent $8500 and some change to give my son a proper send off. He was 23 when he passed and I still miss him. If you sign up as one of my referrals, you don't even have to participate with Quiet Hits, I just want to win the contest. The balance I owe on his headstone is $969.90. Here is the link: http://QuietHits.com /?ref=5720 Thanks in advance. |

| Google is like the Holy Grail of marketing on the web. Rank well in Google and your profits are pretty much set. But there is SO MUCH bogus information out there, often coming from the "gurus" themselves. On January 9th, 2008, Jonathan Leger is releasing a new f.ree report that completely obliterates the following myths about Google (and then goes on to show you what DOES work): Myth #1: Google Knows All and Sees All Myth #2: Google Will Not Rank Duplicate Content Myth #3: You Must Get Links From Related Subject Sites to Rank Myth #4: Your Site Must Focus On One Subject To Rank Myth #5: High PageRank Means Good Rankings Myth #6: To Maintain Good Rankings, You Must Add New Content ..and.. MYTH #7: THE BIGGEST MYTH: Ranking In Google Is Hard! The site is in pre-launch now, but if you sign up early you will get a sample chapter full of proof and details. And did I mention he'll pay you for referring other people to this powerful f.ree report? And that he'll pay you for anyone THEY refer as well (even while it's in pre-launch)? Find out more about that when you download your sample chapter from: CLICK HERE FOR YOUR SAMPLE FREE |

| To Whom it May Concern: I regret to inform you that, effective immediately, I will no longer be able to serve the southern United States on Christmas Eve. Due to the overwhelming current population of the earth, my contract was renegotiated by North American Fairies and Elves Local 209. I now serve only certain areas of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan. As part of the new and better contract I also get longer breaks for milk and cookies so keep that in mind. However, I'm certain that your children will be in good hands with your local replacement who happens to be my third cousin, Bubba Claus. His side of the family is from the South Pole. He shares my goal of delivering toys to all the good boys and girls; however, there are a few differences between us. Differences such as: 1. There is no danger of a Grinch stealing your presents from Bubba Claus. He has a gun rack on his sleigh and a bumper sticker that reads: "These toys insured by Smith and Wesson." 2. Instead of milk and cookies, Bubba Claus prefers that children leave an RC Cola and a moon pie [or pork rinds] on the fireplace. And Bubba doesn't smoke a pipe. He dips a little snuff though, so please have an empty spit can handy. 3. Bubba Claus' sleigh is pulled by floppy-eared, flying coon dogs instead of reindeer. I made the mistake of loaning him a couple of my reindeer one time, and Blitzen's head now overlooks Bubba's fireplace. 4. You won't hear "On Comet, on Cupid, on Donner and Blitzen," when Bubba Claus arrives. Instead, you'll hear, "On Earnhardt, on Wallace, on Martin and Labonte. On Rudd, on Jarrett, on Elliott and Petty." 5. "Ho, ho, ho!" has been replaced by "Yee Haw!" And you also are likely to hear Bubba's elves respond, "I heard dat!" 6. As required by Southern highway laws, Bubba Claus' sleigh does have a Yosemite Sam safety triangle on the back with the words "Back off." The last I heard, it also had other decorations on the sleigh back as well. One is Ford or Chevy logo with lights that race through the letters and the other is a caricature of me (Santa Claus) peeing on the Tooth Fairy. 7. The usual Christmas movie classics such as "Miracle on 34th Street" and "It's a Wonderful Life" will not be shown in your negotiated viewing area. Instead, you'll see "Boss Hogg Saves Christmas" and "Smokey and the Bandit IV" featuring Burt Reynolds as Bubba Claus and dozens of state patrol cars crashing into each other. 8. Bubba Claus doesn't wear a belt. If I were you, I'd make sure you, the wife, and the kids turn the other way when he bends over to put presents under the tree. 9. And, finally, lovely Christmas songs have been sung about me, such as "Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer" and Bing Crosby's "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town." This year, however, songs about Bubba Claus will be played on all the AM radio stations in the South-songs such as Mark Chestnut's: "Bubba Claus Shot the Jukebox" and "Grandma Got Run'd Over by a Reindeer." Merrily Yours, Santa Claus Member, North American Fairies and Elves Local 209 Submitted by JW |
10 Reasons To Advertise Your Blog
Nov 20, 2007, 4:17 am
| Driving Traffic- The key reason that you advertise.
Maintaining a continuous flow of traffic is the 1st step to increasing
sales. Entice your customers to act and give them a reason why they
will benefit for doing so. Attracting New Customers- Businesses want to make sure they are constantly reaching every person that falls into their target customer profile or anyone that may be interested in buying their products or services. Have a strong and consistent message to reinforce your brand as well as to continually attract new customers. Driving Repeat Business- Your readers have lots of choices. You have to learn to keep existing readers happy while attracting new ones. Advertising properly can help keep current readers coming back for more. Keep reinforcing your name and brand in the blog marketplace. Generati ng Continuous Business- Not only is it important to drive traffic once to your blog, but it is also important to drive it again and again by continuously attracting new readers. Utilize your efforts to drive traffic now and in the future to constantly rejuvenate customer flow. Investing In Success- Spend time or money or both to create a long term advantage over your competition. Bloggers who post infrequently lose readers, they may as well read your blog. Keeping Up With The Competition- Underpromise and over deliver. The competition is steep and it doesn't look like it is going to change. So you must fight for market share, for attention. Hard work, persistence and relevant content will make the difference. Building Top Of Mind Awareness- Keep reinforcing what you want your target audience to gain by reading your blog. Every blogger wants to be the first blog that comes to mind for their niche. Create awareness as well as brand image by constantly reminding readers about your blog. Do this by engaging in forums, social network marketing and posting to other bloggers' blogs. Building A Successful Image- Advertising is an awesome tool to use to build and strengthen brand image. It can also be used to create goodwill and keep constant traffic to your blog. Increasing Your Morale- Gaining increased traffic which turn into sales will surely boost any bloggers' morale. Excitement about what you are doing keeps your momentum going, maintains exposure. Increasing Business- You can not increase traffic without advertising. Some of the strongest recognized brands in America are also some of the heaviest advertisers in the country. If you don't tell readers about the benefits and the value your blog offers, then some other blogger will. Blogging is a great marketing tool to achieve those additional sales goals. |
