Sally Says...
Firstly, I am here to make new friends, NOT to find new PARTNERS!! I AM FAITHFULLY MARRIED!! I thought changing my Profile pic to a pic of my Parrots would be enough!! !... Now that I've got THAT off my chest ;OP lol. ..I love everything about life and it's learning experiences. I am extremely passionate about everything I do...noone could EVER accuse me of doing anything by halves!! :o) lol Here's a typical day in the life of Sal... Wake up by 6am to allow enough time to feed and water about 80 parrots! ( mostly Indian Ringnecks), as well as get ready for work (and check emails). Leave for work around 08: 00. Get home from work around 18:00, check the birds again, sort out tea, and, generally head off to some kind of Music Rehearsal... or, occasionally, Hospitality work. Weekends are split between the birds I breed, the Musical Theatre that I love, Scuba Diving, Truck Driving, Camping, Fishing, Boating, Bushwalking, Bow-Hunting or anything else I have the time (lol) to squeeze in!!
Music
I love ALL types of Music, particularly songs with a 'story' and real 'meaning', and as you can see from my left 'Wall' I've fallen for "Celtic Woman" in a huge way ( refer Journal for more detail)!! ;OD ...but my main Musical involvement since 2000 has been with two Brisbane-based groups. .. Beau Belle Minstrels - Northside based, 'professional' standard not expected, like a large family group, giving everyone an equal chance to 'shine' in musical 'variety' shows (see pics) , shows built around the people and the talents available, mainly perform in Nursing Homes, Town Halls or 'Church' Halls, often assisting in charity /fundraising events. Queensland Musical Theatre - a much more 'professional' outfit, been around for over 20yrs performing Stage Musicals (refer pics), and the occassional 'variety' show , based in NewFarm ( Teneriffe) and regularly perform at The Brisbane Powerhouse Theatre and Twelfth Night Theatre, among others. There are generally two yearly 'runs' (June & Nov/De
Movies
I'm a 'sucker' for animated movies (Shrek, Monsters Inc, Ice Age, Final Fantasy, etc) in fact, in a roundabout way, that's what led to my present relationship! Also a fan of action movies, particularly where the lead does all their own stunts (Jackie Chan, Angelina Jolie, etc) Oh , and of course the romantic, heart-string- tuggers, like Shrek, Bicentennial Man, and Sleepless in Seattle... also favourites of my husband!! Another of our favourites is "Thirteenth Warrior" starring Antonio Banderas as an Arabian poet turned holy man, and showing Arabs in a much more favourable light than most movies tend to... be warned however, it also has its fair share of 'blood and guts', as he is called upon to come to the aide of a Barbarian villiage being terrorised by an unspeakable horror.. .
Best Features
My warm, friendly, and forgiving nature...oh, and I guess my long blonde hair, blue eyes, and hour- glass figure...lol
Interests
Musical Theatre, Parrots, Scuba Diving, Archery/Bow- Hunting, Motorcycles, Truck-Driving, Camping, Fishing, Bushwalking, Computers, Problem-Solving and Helping Others. But no matter what I may chose to do with my time, the most important thing to me, is that I can use my Voice and my happy, bubbly, infectiously up- beat and positive personality to be a positive influence on others. :OD
Dreams
My Dream is to own an acreage property with as many parrots as I can handle, with at least one of the enclosures being a tennis-court-size wired-in enclosure where the birds can 'fly free' and there would be room to plant trees, etc and have a 'picnic table' setup, so it can be enjoyed up-close ... a little like the walk -in aviaries at the better zoos and wildlife parks.. .
Indian Ringnecks - Profile
The Indian Ringneck hails from West Africa through India to Indonesia. Most are between 16 to 17 inches long from the top of their head to the tip of their tail. They can weigh between 110g to 140g . These stunning birds come in wide variety of colours almost equal to that of budgies. They talk and have a very proud way about them. The way they hold their head and strut across the table or floor... it's like they know how beautiful they are. They are like a kid in a candy store. It is a hoot watching the excitement in their eyes. They will run in every direction trying to get their beaks on it all. Another thing about Indian Ringnecks is that they tend to be a good family pet. This is because in the wild these birds don't mate for life but will choose a different mate from season to season. It is for this reason the IRN has a tendency to share itself willing with the whole family if everyone interacts with IT. PLEASE REFER http://www. sweetietweeties.com/indian .htm FOR MORE
Why use 'Profile sites' if "faithfully married"?
Profile sites are a wonderful way to influence people all over the world , and from all walks of life. Speaking for myself , I am happiest when I know I'm making others happy, and this is the easiest way to have a positive influence on as many people as possible, without jeapordising family life... ;O} Obviously, I can't be with all my wonderful online friends 24-7, but I really appreciate being a part of this wonderful worldwide family! Stay happy, everyone, and don't let life get you down, 'cos someone, somewhere, is thinking of you fondly right now! :OD Besides, in my case, there was never a truer word than those words of the immortal 'No No Nannette', "I want to be happy, but I won't be happy, 'til I make you happy too!" :OD
Books
The Gabriel Method...the most fascinating 'lifestyle' book I have ever read...Google it!! ; OP

Sorry I've been away for so long... my PC has been in for
repairs for over a month  and I can't access the site from
 work unfortunately...
in the meantime, many clutches of 'fids' have hatched grown
and been sold, and my latest Musical Theatre performance
"The King & I" has been and gone...all over 'til next yr! ;OP

However, I'm still in time to show you my latest feathered
 kids, 6 of which are of age to go to loving new homes! ;OD
For those that are looking for feathered kids of their own, details follow...
For pics, refer "Photos" section...
I've added the best dozen or so for your interest :)

I am getting enquiries on a daily basis, so get in early to put
 one of these gorgeous birds aside for your very own! ;OD
 (Those who pay a deposit get first pick)

Some are friendlier than others, as they all have their own
unique 'personality', just like children, but they all prefer to
sit on a human shoulder than in a bird cage!! lol so if u have
room in home? and heart?for 1 or more of my cuddly 'fids'
(feathered kids) please let me know ;OP
Freighting is no problem, within Australia only, of course.
Also, happy2consider all 'non-cash' transactions, i.e. trades
for goods or services welcome.

Males are now only available in Pastelgrey and Skyblue, there's also a Skyblue girl, or if you want something
 a little different to the mainstream, there are females
(which I personally find most affectionate of the species)
presently available in Lacewing, Pastel Skyblue fallow and
what I suspect is a Cinnamon ino. A slightly cheaper option would be my young Skyblue girl...All of my girls are
exceptionally tame and friendly :)

Prices presently range from $300 to $600 and include DNA
 certificate and food sample, as well as  a 'spec sheet' to help those new to the breed. :)

Cool man

JOURNAL

There are several fids (feathered kids) still available, but I haven't been putting in the hard yards to find homes for them lately..... my hubby was rushed to hospital last Tuesday with acute pancreatitus, and on Saturday he was put on a 'breathing machine' to take the strain off his own organs...I'm worried :{

Sorry I've been away for so long... my PC has been in for repairs for over a month and I can't access the site from work unfortunately... in the meantime, several clutches of 'fids have hatched grown and been sold, and my latest Musical Theatre performance "The King & I" has been and gone...all over 'til next yr! ;OP However, I'm still in time to show you my latest feathered kids, 5 of which are of age to go to loving new homes! ;OD For those that are looking...details follow... For pics, refer "Photos" section... I'll add the best dozen or so for your interest :) I am getting enquiries on a daily basis, so get in early to put one of these gorgeous birds aside for your very own! ;OD (Those who pay a deposit get first pick) Some are friendlier than others, as they all have their own unique 'personality', just like children, but they all prefer to sit on a human shoulder than in a bird cage!! lol so if u haveroom in home? and heart?for 1 or more of my cuddly 'fids' (feathered kids) please let me know ;OP Freighting is no problem, within Australia only, of course. Also, happy2consider all 'non-cash' transactions, i.e. trades for goods or services welcome. All DNA sexed males are spoken for, but there are 2 remaining which I'm pretty confident are also male (these are Cinnamon & Turquoiseblue) or, if you want something a little different to the mainstream, there are females(which I personally find most affectionate of the species) presently available in Lacewing, Pastel Skyblue fallow and what I suspect is a Cinnamon ino. All of my girls are exceptionally tame and friendly :) Prices presently range from $300 to $600 and include DNA certificate and food sample (all of the 'cheaper' ones were snapped up long ago), as well as 'spec sheet' for the newbies, and endless backup. Always happy to help!! ;OD

Hi all, this is something I'm involved in (through StarNow)...if you're local to Brisbane, Qld, Australia... please read on ;OD

We need extras, LOTS of you, for our brand new music video from the forthcoming debut LP, The Revolution Is Never Coming. The band will be shooting the music video on Saturday September 13th in Brisbane, Australia. Time 10am.

We need about 100 people + to fill the stage with us. This is going to be a Morning/Arvo shoot, and it's shaping up to be one of the most unique and organic videos we have ever created...something you don't want to miss that we want all of your lovely faces to be in. All extras need to arrive by 10am for the full rundown on shots and what exactly we're going to need for you to do -- then shooting will run for approximately 2-6 hours...

it could go very fast, but we like to account for possible reshoots, mistakes, and of course random unexpected craziness...ugly little things tend to rear their head when you least expect it, so best to play it safe and book a longer time frame just in case.

Location of Shoot
Griffith Film School Studios
Corner of Vulture St & Dock St.
South Bank, 2ND Floor.
Take first left once in dock. There will be a young lady who will meet all those involved at front entrance across from the Maritime Museum.

Also, please let us know if you can bring any friends and perhaps repost this for us on your pages?...we'd love to have your help gatheting 'em. To confirm your involvement or for any additional information, please e-mail jdsmarshall@gmail.co m and CC management with the subject 'The Red Paintings September Video Extra' (or call 0416119661). Requirements and details are as follows: There will be two scenes that need to be shot on the day.

Scene One
* 100 extras
* Dress Code -- If possible, please dress entirely in white, preferably with no logos or images (it's okay if you can't but those who are fully white, we can feature in close-ups) Scene Two
* 25 Bodies to paint white like a human canvas. We will supply white wigs and crazy hat piece.
* 5 Bodies to be painted black.
- We will need to drop the black bodies from ceiling height of around 6-8 feet.
All you'll need to do is wear white underwear if you plan to be a white canvas, and black if...you got it, if you want to be a black canvas. There are showers you can use also, so please feel free to bring a towel to clean up and dry off. Don't worry about the paint -- it's special and comes right off/won't damage your skin...it's a little cold, but quite fun. We promise. Many of you crazy kids have done it before so feel free to ask your fellow fans what it's like. There is no payment involved, BUT we will supply food and drink. Plus of course you get the satisfaction and experience of something quite unique...a part of Red Paintings history. Again, feel free to bring as many people as you like, but please try and drop us a line that you can do it. If you bring more than expected, awesome, just let them know dress code. We are also on the lookout for 20 extras (only 20) on the Sunday (the day after/14th) to form an Orchestral scene. Let us know if you may be interested in shooting on both days. See you soon!!

so....See you there? :O}

My husband Errol's beautiful sun conure, almost a year old now, affectionately known as ''Squark'' must unfortunately go to a new loving home.

He is a truly beautiful bird, very tame, comical and affectionate.

Presently his favourite place to be is lying on his back with his eyes half-closed, contentedly watching TV from atop my husband's belly!

Unfortunately, he is too noisy for our long-suffering neighbours, when his voice is added to that of the other 80 parrots!!! :O}

$600 or trades / part-trades of equivalent value may be considered

will try to post pics when able...there should be one at http://www.petlink.c om.au/Classifieds/sa le/975217.html
