Trina S Says...
My name is Trina L.C. Sonnenberg. I live in a tiny little town in southwestern Colorado, called Nucla. I am a transplant from Wisconsin, having moved here in 1997 . I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart, Jeff Sonnenberg, for the last 11 years. I have two children, Jerimiah (18) and Tanner (10). I started out online, trying to figure out how to use the Internet to promote Melalueca. I have been with Melaleuca since 2001, and have made serveral attempts at building it as a business, but I am just not cut out to convince people, whom I don't know, to get involved. I am not a cold caller. However, I am a believer in the company and products, so I maintain my membership and shop there every month . In the process of this little self discovery , I learned a great deal about Internet marketing and self promotion. I also learned that to be successful, I needed to follow my passion, which is writing. So, I shifted gears and officially launched my writing career .
Music
I like a wide variety of music, from classical to rock. I prefer 60's - 80's rock-n-roll, and I am a huge Pink Floyd fan!
Interests
Reading and writing, and hiking with my family in the mountains.
Dreams
To publish a novel. Actually, I am living my dream, but the novel has yet to be written.
My Kids
Jerimiah 1989 Tanner 1997

heres a new poem i hope you like it

I see you standing there you are
so beautiful to me,

And my darling, to my heart it
is you that holds the key,

Its your arms I want around me
when the nights seem so long,

But with the distance between the
two of us its hard remaining strong,

I cannot hold you but I cannot seem
to let you go,

For in my heart I love you much more
then you will ever know,

A Personal Message
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

Good morning Dear Readers;

I just want to let you know that I'm not going to be writing for you for awhile, and why. I am writing for me these days. I have begun work on a new book.

The project I am working on is nothing like the book I published last year, 'My Journey;' it is much bigger. I don't want to spoil the fun by telling you about it in detail. I will say that it is not a compilation project, nor has it anything to do with marketing, advertising, or home business. It is a book that has been in my head for years, screaming to get out. Well, the door has opened and the pages are filling fast.

I must take this ball an run with it, and I hope you will understand. I asked for direction and it came to me; therefore, I must follow it. Truthfully, I cannot stop the words from coming. It is the most awesome experience; like giving birth to a child, only without the pain involved.

I plan to pop in every now and again, to give you updates as to my progress, and to answer any questions you may have for me. I don't want you to feel abandoned. I am still here, following my passion. Please do not abandon me.

As always, you may contact me here: http://triizine.quikonnex.com

Have an awesome weekend!
Trii

My Journey Update

To all of my friends and supporters;
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

I would like to update you all on the progress that has been made since I made my cry for help. Remember, I wrote of a goal to sell 30,000 copies of my book, My Journey, A Lifetime of Verse; ISBN: 978-0-6151-6405-2, to save my home...

Well, I thought you may be interested in how that is going. Since October 4th, when I first posted, I have sold 20 copies of my book, and I have received two donations from people wanting to help. Total money received has been $136.00. Thank You!

Since the defamation campaign was launched against me, however, not a single book has been sold, nor have I received any new clients. This has been disheartening, to say the least, but I have not given up hope.

I am happy to report that my husband has picked up a couple of small jobs that have been able to keep the utilities going.

Here is an interesting tidbit for you... Last month, I tried to make a partial payment to my mortgage holder, Citi Residential, and they refused it. Then, the representative that I spoke with accused me of looking for a hand-out. I, as you can imagine got pretty angry. I said, "Hey, I'm not looking for anything; I am trying to give you some money! Isn't something better than nothing?" Still they refused the partial payment, saying that it was not their policy to accept anything but a full payment. So, I sent the money I did have to my utilities. In this economic climate, you'd think they'd accept anything they can get, but apparently, they are more interested in charging fees for late payments, making people like me even harder pressed to get out of the hole.

Okay, back to my book... I wrote this book to share my experiences with women in abusive relationships; to show that there is hope for a better tomorrow, and that they are not alone in their struggles. I have been trying to get it into the hands of these women through domestic violence advocacy groups, but I've been unsuccessful. I even dreamed that a wealthy philanthropist would take notice and buy 30,000 copies of the paperback and donate them to these organizations. What a dream! It even prompted me to write to Oprah. No, I haven't gotten a response from her, not even a message to tell me to bug off. Oh well.

Just so that you know, I am not giving up.

Thank you once again for all of your support and effort to help me. I appreciate you all very much and thank God for you every day. If you have any other ideas for me as to how to increase sales, I am open to hear them. I must add though, that I cannot join any of your programs or business opportunities. I have no money to invest; none, zip, zilch. Although I am sure that those of you who are sending me information on such things, mean well, I simply cannot participate. Thank you for thinking of me anyway.

I have been called a fraud and a liar for trying to sell my book to get out of my personal financial crisis. I do hope that you do not believe such things should you read them someplace online. The person who is spouting this garbage has absolutely no idea what she is talking about. How could she? She is not a friend of mine and has never been privy to my personal finances, much less has she ever bothered to get to know me as a person. She is vengeful and hateful, and yes, I believe she has jealousy issues, because of what she THINKS she knows. When the reality of it all is that she has no clue whatsoever. If I could afford a lawyer, I'd have her in a court room in a heartbeat.

Please, if you should come upon any damaging information that she has posted anywhere, regarding me, or even sent to you directly, send it to me. Sh

Reclaim Your Power

Challenges
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg

We all have challenges in life, ranging from the small to the very, very tall. It is important to remember that, at least in my opinion, everything happens for a reason, and that what doesn't kill you will make you stronger. I believe that if we let our challenges consume us, we are lost. We lose control of ourselves; we lose our power when we let the ngative circumstances of our lives become our primary focus.

I know that it is a difficult task, to not think about that which is troubling you; however, it can and must be done in order to progress. If it can't be completely pushed from the mind, the negativity that is, then change its direction. Think about finding the solution, rather than drowning in the problem itself. That changes the negative to a positive. It gives you strength to overcome.

My experiences of late have proved this to me. Actually, I have a lifetime of experiences that have proved this out, but recently, I have written about the challenges I currently face and got to thinking about the solution rather than giving the problem the power to hold me. I kept asking the question, What can I do to solve this once and for all? I stopped asking, Why me? and asked for a solution instead. I received that solution in short order. Now I have changed the negative to a positive by embracing the solution and achieving power over the situation.

We all have the power within ourselves to overcome any challenge we may face. We just need to shed the negative; search for and ask for the solution to that challenge. Rather than thinking that the mountain is too high, ask for help in climbing it. Find the determination from within to succeed. It is within you.

The challenges we face in life are meant to help us grow; they are not meant to keep us in bondage. Set yourself free. Change your thinking and allow yourself to learn, to blossom, to succeed.

Reclaim your power. Every problem has a solution; go find yours!

What I am grateful for today:
I have found a solution to my most recent challenge.
I have a wonderful and supportive husband, who loves me very much.
I have two awesome kids.
I have caring and supportive friends.
I have the capcity to learn and to love.
I have intelligence, health, and hope.
For starters...
