In one form or another, Hawthorne Heights, with their melodic punk meets hardcore/emo sound, have been rocking people all across the country for 2 years now. Formed in Dayton, OH in 2001 under the original name of A Day In The Life, they immediately set to work on recording and releasing a full-length on indie label Confined Records. Five member changes and one name change later and the band has still managed to do 5 national self-booked tours and has shared the stage with some of todays biggest bands. Hawthorne Heights combines melodic hardcore, pop sensibilities and classic rock elements to form a sound unto their own.
