I've established this group for musicians in the new York City area (New York, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Westchester, Connecticut, New Jersey) who want to meet other musicians, in real life, for jamming, performing, recording. What prompted this is my recent effort to find musicians for a folk band has taken months and has been totally fruitless. I play guitar and my musical interest range from jazz, blues, rock, folk, R&B, to latin, tango and classical. I perform, compose, teach music and love to colaborate with other musicians. Who should join this group are musicians (all instruments), singers, songwriters, poets, recording engineers, people who love being with or working with musicians and finally, people who love listening to great musicians play. If you know anyone who you think should be a member of this group, you have my permission to INVITE them. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
