Juan Luis Guerra (Santo Domingo, June 7, 1957) is a Dominican singer, guitarist, composer and impresario. His nickname in high school el niño de las Veladas (translated: "the boy of the parties"). Guerra has experimented with a wide range of musical styles and lyrics. Funny, frivolous merengues and salsas he alternates with tinted romantic Bachatas to religious texts. Guerra leads a quiet, secluded life and spends a lot of time in his studio. In 1996, Guerra is converted to Pentecostalism. He devotes much time to his faith. He believes that the solution of problems in the world lies in understanding "God's Word." His CD Para Ti (2004) was a Christian album. With his latest album La Llave De Mi Corazon "won a mainstream Grammy Award and a whopping six Latin Grammy Awards. This is JLG record for most receiving awards at the Latin Grammy ceremony, he shares this record with Juanes. i like the music and every body who likes the music too join this group.
