I love metal detecting as my hobby. If you like this hobby please join and tell me of your great finds. Mine was a Roman head statue of a goddess, but it was not in good condition so the value was not worth much. It does interest me as what was once a statue to a Roman person in there house. I love the history of the Romans, and their skills of the past. So please share your finds of great interest as a hobby. I am a member of a club.If you are a farmer that give us permission on metal detecting on your farm i can tell you we are a club and have found valuable treasures in the past where we have gone to Christie's auction and what ever is sold there the money is split with the finder and the farmer, so we are a honest club and have proof of this. Small finds of no value are sometimes kept by the finder just for their collection for their hobby. Thank you all who join and who are very interested in this group. Good luck all. Best regards John.
