From Synthpop to Britpunk that originates in the 70s and popularized in the 80s. New wave music defines the fashion in the 80s and definitely sets the trend of what a music video should be on MTV. Wikipedia came to imply New Wave as less noisy, often synthesizer-based, pop sound. It also influenced the development of House music and Techno. But to most people New Wave Music is more than a lifestyle, it has become a part of their life where everyone who got hooked into it is forever enthralled by its spirit and music that eventually influenced their life.
