Speed dating is a fun, safe way to meet a lot of new single people in one place at a time. If you haven't speed dated before , this is how it works. Speed dating consists of a minimun of 15 men and 15 women who sign up to attend these events usually at a romantic restaurant or bar. The participants show up at a designated time. The host explains how it works. It goes like this: You have about 8 minutes with each of your "dates". The man move to the next woman at the sound of the host's bell. The women stay seated and as the bell rings, the next date comes up, introduces himself and take a seat.
