Elvis Presley was not only the king of rock & roll, but was also a true humanitarian! he spent a lot of his money helping out people, even strangers he never met. he rarely ever brought attention to himself when he did this. and he never forgot his poor roots as a child and how he and his family counted on the different charitable organizations while he was going up. once he was famous and had the money, well every year around Christmas he would hand out 50 checks to fifty different charities. he believed in giving back! here was a man that never claimed in deductions hr paid huge income tax because of this. he believed in America
